Tanjung Benoa Beach is one of the most well-known beaches on the island of Bali, with its beautiful beaches and various water attractions that have made Tanjung Benoa beach known as a center for water tourism (watersports) and a tourist destination. Various activities can be done on this beach such as relaxing with friends or family, sunbathing, strolling along the beach, swimming and others.
Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park
Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) is a giant statue by one of the famous sculptors from Bali, Nyoman Nuarta. This statue is in the form of Batara Wisnu riding the legendary Garuda animal as a symbol of Amerta, eternal virtue. The statue, which is still under construction, is made of 4,000 tons of copper and brass. According to the plan, when completed, this statue will stand 150 meters high with an eagle’s wingspan reaching 64 meters. GWK will be the largest statue in the world. GWK Cultural Park can be an alternative destination for those of you who want a vacation that is more meaningful than just family recreation. This Cultural Park is located in the Jimbaran area, south side of Denpasar.
Padang Padang Cliff Beach
Padang Padang Beach is a favorite beach for tourists who are very popular and are recognized as the best beaches in Asia. Padang Padang Beach itself is better known by local residents as the Labuan Sait beach which has charming white sand and is highly recommended for visiting during holidays. The attraction that Padang – Padang beach has is its characteristic that it is near the Uluwatu tourist area which has unique and different beaches, Padang – Padang Beach is surrounded by hills and green trees and beautiful natural scenery.
Uluwatu Cliff Temple, Sunset, Kecak & Fire Dance Show
Watch the sunset in Bali through the best spots at Uluwatu Temple, a temple for the god of the sea in the beliefs of the Balinese people, with views of the ocean from the top of the cliff. Uluwatu is one of several temples built to protect the island of Bali from evil forces, and is home to a friendly family of monkeys. After exploring the temple and watching the sunset, you can continue your adventure by watching the most famous cultural performance in Bali, the Kecak Fire Dance. This Kecak dance is a performance against the backdrop of the Ramayana story with a distinctive call, complemented by a fire dance performed in unique costumes. From Uluwatu Luhur Temple, tourists can also visit Tanah Lot, Uluwatu Beach, Nusa Dua, or Padang-Padang Beach. Jimbaran Bay Beach & Barbeque Sea Food Restaurant
More than a dozen seafood barbecue places line the beach here at the southern end of Jimbaran beach, and while it does have a decidedly touristy tilt (with higher prices than what you’ll pay elsewhere) the food is that good and the sunsets so spectacular that if you’ve got to pick one evening to embrace your inner tourist in Bali, this is it.
Depending on the season and the weather, Jimbaran is a great beach for kids. It has a broad, very shallow drop-off and generally quite gentle waves, meaning it is an excellent choice to let young children play in the shallows in a way you might be uncomfortable with at one of the rougher surf beaches. And for those who can’t swim, there’s plenty of find sand for building sand castles and so on. Be it swimming, playing in the shallows or building Boroburdur out of sand, it’s a great way to work up an appetite.
